So That Happened...

Talk about bad timing. Just in time for our review of Lacroix's spiffy new Bar 210, chef Matthew Levin peaces out. If we knew he was planning on skedaddling, we'd definitely have squeezed in another of his orgasmic Sunday brunches. Cashman reps tell us today the parting was amicable and not exactly out-of-the-blue. The PR firm will be representing Levin moving forward in his indie project, a restaurant that, according to Levin, "even the guy making $10 an hour at the TLA can afford," a well-intentioned line that didn't go over so well with commenters on the Insider. Pencil in Levin's solo act for Center City or Northern Liberties, to which we offer a very enthusiastic Boo! You can do better, Matthew. By better we of course mean South Philly.

You need a sweet StoryMap from outside.in so that I can look at your reviews about the restaurants where I live. Here's the link to it: http://outside.in/geotoolkit.
