King of Wishful Zinc-ing

Great news, kids! We at blogalicious are proud to announce that we—well, I, Adam—am the new restaurant critic at the smart, snappy, snarky Philadelphia Weekly. Couldn’t dream of a better fit. The first review is on newsstands (and viewable here on the PW website). I checked out Zinc, Oliver Desaintmartin’s new French bistro in the Gayborhood. The wine bar’s atmosphere is down pat, but the so-so food and one wacko waiter with a silly high-school French accent made the experience taste like sour grapes. Oh, well. There’s always Caribou.
