'Sup With The Tinto Tee, Bro?

Anybody else notice on Top Chef last night, sunburned chef-testant Patrick was sporting a tee shirt with the trademark T-shaped Tinto corkscrew? Or at least what looked a helluva lot like the Tinto logo... Is there someone out there who can solve this mystery? Anyone, anyone? Bueller?

True, but astute nerds. I think we need to do some digging into the GRG. Jennie, are you there?

I'm here - I forwarded to Jose to see if we have a connection -- and yes, we are nerds :)

In a gin enhanced haze, I also noticed said shirt. Hit the rewind on the DVR and thought it was the same logo. Only things that threw me was the color of the corkscrew as it's usually gold, and the ends of the handle are more round on the shirt.

So - we have confirmed that GRG never made Tinto Tee's, so it just looks a LOT like the Tinto T :)

Drats. Thought it was perhaps another subliminal clue to the impending season of Top Chef Philly. J, thanks for solving the mystery.

hey i saw this same thing and posted it on my blog too, haha. i don't quite follow your talk of GRG--what's that? also, if you look on the bravo site at patrick's pics, there are some of him wearing another (green) shirt with the same tinto-esque design. is this just all coincidental? regardless, i think his shirts are pretty cool and wanna know where to get them!

Matt: Another shirt! Wow. GRG is Garces Restaurant Group, and Jennie (AKA Happy Hatton) is Jennie Hatton, their PR peep.
